Similar to its inspiration, Rogue City takes place in Old Detroit, a cyberpunk setting oozing ’80s charm. Violence runs rampant throughout the city, and RoboCop exists to keep the peace, a process that generally involves filling gang members with enough bullets to fill a swimming pool. The campaign consists of two sections: linear story levels and exploration in a sandbox. The former highlights Rogue City ‘s gratifying combat since Teyon, wisely, opted to embrace the protagonist’s overpowered nature, allowing players to tank hits while they slowly mow down dozens upon dozens of enemies. The story is nothing special but suits the franchise. Outside these missions, RoboCop heads to the streets in search of minor cases, and the game’s sandbox brings to life the movie’s setting very well. If players help Maiko take over Clouds and then accept her money, they will never be able to romance Judy. It’s extremely important that players do not take her money. The best outcome is to kill the Tyger Claws by siding with Judy, and then use fists to take out Maiko through non-lethal means and leave her alive and unconscious. When players return to Judy, she will give V a kiss. If players did end up killing Maiko, then they would still get the final quest for Judy’s romance, but they would not get the kiss at Pisces.

In order to romance Judy in Cyberpunk 2077, players must have selected the Female Body Type when they were creating their V, and they must be using the Feminine Voice Tone. Without both of these options active, players will be unable to romance Judy. There is no way to change V’s Body Type in-game, so players will have to select New Game and try again. If players are already playing as Female V, then they just need to progress through the Main Quests that involve Judy, which are listed below in the following order:
Players have a lot of freedom in how they choose to develop V’s abilities. As V advances through Night City players will gain experience points to increase their overall level and street cred, which as street cred increases more jobs will open to V as their exploits have caught the attention of bigger names in the underground enterprises of Night City. V has five basic attributes: Body, Reflexes, Intelligence, Technical Abilities and Cool. Each of these have their own subsets of different subskills with branching skill trees. It’s almost overwhelming how many different abilities the player can spend their perk points, such as in areas of Street Brawling, Crafting, Assault or Hacking to name a small sample of what’s available, but a lot of perks mostly offer incremental bonuses to such things so there’s low risk of building the character a «wrong» way, but strategic examination of the available options can be used to create an optimal character based on a chosen playstyle. Wanting to make the character a master hacker, invisible ninja or in-your-face brawler and many other types of characters can be created through effective planning. In addition to building up V this way, there are also Ripperdocs all over Night City that for a price will gladly add and switch out various cybernetic enhancements.
