Destiny 2: Riven Boss Guide (Last Wish Raid)
Released in season 4 with the Forsaken DLC, Poultry Petting creates a holographic chicken in the image of Cayde’s best friend Colonel. Whether during mid-raid lulls or pre-Gambit face offs, petting that holo-chicken (or inhaling «Spicy Ramen») is a display of silliness and reverence worthy of the character’s leg
Destiny 2’s Season of the Lost has released its sixth set of Seasonal Challenges for Guardians to tackle. This is the first week that has a Challenger XP+++ reward from a challenge, granting the equivalent of a Season Pass rank when completed. If you’re looking to get your Season Pass to rank 100 this season, you’ll want to do some of this week’s challen
An homage to comedy aficionados and British people of a certain age, the Galloping Knight emote recreates a gag from 1975’s Monty Python and The Holy Grail. Routinely among the top of comedy’s all-time ranks, Holy Grail follows King Arthur as he «strides» across the English countryside. While Arthur pantomimes a prancing horse his underling simulates the clip-clop of horse’s hooves with coconuts to ridiculous comedic eff
Of note as well, of course, are endgame PvP activities. A famed part of this is the Trials of Osiris (hailing from the original Destiny where it played the same role), a pinnacle endgame activity. Interestingly, the Trials were only added to Destiny 2 in Season Ten. This mode did have a predecessor, however, in the Trials of the N
Location: The Ruins
Make your way to The Ruins—the set of destroyed buildings dead-center of the map. Use the True Sight marker in the area, then immediately turn to your right to find the Data Cache floating in one of the buildi
For this boss fight, the best weapons are going to be a mix of precision and heavy damaging weapons. Unlike the previous bosses in the Last Wish raid, there will be several times in the fight against Riven where Guardians will want to have pinpoint accuracy, and nothing more. Highly accurate Auto Rifles, like Destiny 2 ‘s Chroma Rush Override weapon from Season of the Splicer, are a great choice to bring. They’ll serve multiple purposes, including defeating lesser enemies and damaging Riven. It is best to bring a Sniper Rifle and or a long-range Machine Gun, and, depending on which weapon is chosen, a Fusion Rifle or Linear Fusion Ri
Finale is the name of Ascendancy’s Crucible ornament. You can obtain this ornament by resetting your Valor once during Season 15 and reaching the rank of «Legend» once again. Claim it from Shaxx’s reward track once you’ve reached this rank. Ascendancy itself drops from any ritual vendor —Zavala, Shaxx, and the Drifter—when you reach the rank of «Legend» in their respective activ
This challenge requires that you counter any Champion type 50 times. Anti-Barrier counters Barrier Champions, Overload weapons stun Overloads, and Unstoppable weapons stun Unstoppables. Stunning the same Champion multiple times will count for this challen
Deep Defense is the final Trivial Mystery to complete in Destiny 2 Season of the Lost week one. Head towards the rock the is just before the rock with the portal leading to the final boss. Face the portal, then turn 180 degrees to view the small complex. There are a lot of Taken that will have to be clear out first, but after they’re dead head straight towards the back following the image above. They’ll be even easier to defeat once the Gjallarhorn is in Destiny 2 . At the very end is a dark trail that will have to be jumped down on in order to reach the path
Solar Fusion Power requires 300 Fusion Rifle kills and 150 Solar melee kills. Standard kill farms, such as the Shattered Throne’s Thrall hallway and Shuro Chi checkpoint in Last Wish, are great for this challenge. Rapid-Fire Fusions and Vex Mythoclast are your best options for Fusion kills. As for Solar melee ki
Destiny 2 is host to many different types of weapons, from fast-firing sidearms to the burst-fire of pulse rifles. Many of these weapons have become duly iconic in their own right. Nevertheless, of the many weapon types that now exist in Destiny 2, quite a few were notably absent at the beginn
While multiplayer emotes can be clunky they are staples in many players’ loadouts. Those initiating extend a friendly hand while those accepting are mostly curious what new, rare, or hilarious emote being offered. Multiplayer emotes function like quick co-op moments for the social aspect of Destiny, one free from anxiety or awkward chit chat. The legendary Slow Jam emote doesn’t reference anything specific unless awkward Junior prom moments are univer
Making Destiny 2 free-to-play was undeniably a great choice that brought in a massive boost of fans, but it’s always interesting to consider that some originally bought it. At least they rolled the first two DLC packs into New Light
In Destiny 2 Solstice 2’s early days, there were three factions, known as Dead Orbit, Future War Machine, and New Monarchy . Factions no doubt recognizable for fans of the original Destiny. At present, though, they are nowhere to be seen in Destiny 2 (for various story reaso
