Once in the damage phase, the Consecrated Mind will be extremely vulnerable in its eye. It will also back up to the original starting point. Follow it and continue to do damage, as a barrier will soon spawn at the beginning of the hallway, preventing any damage from being done. The whole team can make it beyond the barrier before it spawns but should wait until the Consecrated Mind makes it beyond the next staircase. If the barrier spawns try jumping between the barrier on the left or right sides attaching to the wall to get by it. While the Conflux Team hunts for motes, the Boss Team will be following the Consecrated Mind. It will head down one of those four paths, Front, Back, Left, or Right. Once it reaches the end, the Consecrated Mind will create the Voltaic Overflow effect. In anticipation of this, each team member from the Boss Team needs to have a designated starting and rotational position, and here’s why. When the Consecrated Mind creates the Voltaic Overflow effect it will always spawn it in the center. That first center-teammate grabs the effect, and when the Consecrated Mind flashes lights the affected teammate will be able to see either the outer circles or inner circles light up red. The other two Destiny 2 Guardians see both sets of lights, so it’s up to the Voltaic Overflow teammate to communicate «inner» or «outer» for the correct lights to shoot. The exotic Galloping Knight emote arrived during Season of Dawn. As a multiplayer emote that can mean extended waits for a fellow fun-lover to accept the prompt to prance. Still, it’s gleefuly absurd and gets bonus points between fans as a true kindred spirit mom
The Conflux Team will have two objectives, the primary is to defend the Conflux while the secondary is to repair the arena. Every time a Vex sacrifices itself on a Conflux the Conflux will lose motes, even if the Conflux was previously full. If this happens, the team will not be able to make full use of the damage phase. It’s best if the Conflux Team puts one member at each Conflux, and floats around to assist as need be with long-range capable weapons like Destiny 2 ‘s Darkest Before Pulse Rifle . Additionally, a part of the arena will be destroyed every time the Sanctified Mind has a part shot off. When enough parts of the arena have been destroyed, both members of the Conflux team can regroup to form a quick tether and repaid that section. One member will shoot the Conflux, the Conflux will tether to them, they’ll tether to the second teammate, and the second teammate tethers to a structure that repairs the arena (the structure looks like a barrier door lock from the very first encount
The damage phase is when the Fireteam no longer has the three teams of two. Instead, everyone should have a given area that they’re in to ensure the tether connects correctly. It’s entirely possible for the tether to connect to the wrong people, or not even cause the oracle to explode. If the tethered oracle does not explode it’s because at least one Vex was able to sacrifice on that Conflux, causing it to lose a mote. Unfortunately, the team will lose out on this damage phase.
